Although she has only been living in the Swan Valley for two and a half years, it feels like home for Tara Farrell, who with sister Ann-Marie Conama, operates Swan Valley Sisters Produce Café and Chalets.
Tara and her husband Dean used to visit the restaurants, breweries and wineries of the Swan Valley with their now teenage daughters, who would wander among the vines during weekends and school holidays.
“I’d never imagined that I would be living this life here now,” Tara says.
“I have met so many great people since moving to the Swan Valley, it feels like being part of a bigger family.
Tara loves being part of the supportive Swan Valley community and working with the growers and producers whose goods she sells in the store, which has also become a popular coffee stop.
She is excited that customers will get to meet many of these producers as part of the Swan Valley Sisters Market Day for Entwined.
“It is going to be a brilliant day, full of a variety of things to do and everyone will be showcasing what they have on offer,” she says.
Expect to enjoy live music, Swan Valley Wagon Tours and more.
Swan Valley Sisters will also have their own new season asparagus and some of the last citrus of the season on sale.
