A strong advocate for the region and a passionate foodie, The Cheese Barrel’s Operations Manager Sarah Howlett loves introducing people to the Swan Valley for the first time.
“It’s so exciting that 185 years after the first wines were produced, the area is still being ‘discovered’ and new love affairs are developing.”
Sarah loves the down-to-earth nature of the people and its unique location, and she describes her passions as “produce, providence and people.”
She appreciates that the Swan Valley encompasses so much more than its wine origins and is excited to be an Entwined Ambassador sharing her love of the region.
“The Swan Valley has shady riverbanks to stroll along, generations of family-run businesses, friendly roadside stalls full of locally grown produce, and the contrast of high-end and stripped-back dining,” said Sarah.
